Required to work:
A 30 day emergency permit or valid California Teaching Credential.
If you have an out-of-state teaching credential visit the Commission of California Teacher Credentialing website, www.ctc.ca.gov , to see if you are able to convert it to a California credential.
If you do not already have a 30 day emergency teaching permit or valid teaching credential, you must have a minimum of: passing CBEST scores or equilvalent noted by the ctc and a Bachelor's degree. You must apply for a 30 day emergency permit on your own through the Commission of California Teacher Credentialing at, www.ctc.ca.gov , for a 30 day emergency permit. You will need to supply the necessary documents to meet the Teacher Credentialing criteria: official transcripts showing your Bachelor's Degree, CBEST passing test paper or accepted equivalent by the cctc, fees for the application and fingerprinting for the ctc.
Burbank Unified School District's application must be submitted on line at the BUSD website or by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page on this ed join posting or use this url http://www.burbankusd.org/District/Department/11-Human-Resources to be considered for employment. Applications are to be submitted on line and followed up with a hard copy including the documents required must be mailed into the district in order to be considered complete. Documents required are hard copy of the on line application, 3 letters of recommendation, resume, copies or official transcripts, copy of cbest passing test scores and copies of credential or 30 day permit. Burbank Unified School District post openings only to Ed-Join. We do not look on Ed join for your applications/documents that you have posted on Ed join.
Substitute positions available during 2013/2014 school year and are hired as an "on call as needed" basis. You must be available to work 3 days each week.
