The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. The District Office hosts twenty-three district level departments that serve the school sites. School sites feature many facility upgrades with vibrant libraries due to the community support of the Measure E bond. Requirements / Qualifications
Must hold a valid teaching credential from CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) authorizing service to students. Passing of CBEST, CSET or MSAT, and RICA Official transcripts from BA/BS and beyond (upon hire, original transcripts are required).
As a condition of initial employment, all new hires must have a clear tuberculin exam within the past 60 days prior to beginning work with Fremont Unified School District. The substitute supervisor will set up an interview appointment on the next scheduled date. After passing the interview and reference checks, you will receive an appointment to come and do your orientation. You will be required to complete a fingerprint test, if not already on the Alameda County Sub Consortium.
