Requirements / Qualifications

SLPA license; Transcripts (official or unofficial); first aid/CPR cards. Transcripts, ceretificates or any other required document must be attached and submitted together with the application. Must possess a SLPA Associate of Arts or Sciences Degree from a program approved by the Board (includes a minimum of 70 hours of fieldwork) or equivalent SLPA degree program (out of state training) as approved by the Board (must include a minimum of 70 hours of fieldwork); or Bachelor's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences and 70 hours of clinical experience as obtained in a Board approved communicative sciences program or a Board-approved SLPA program.
