Our district educates approximately 10,500 students (representing 50 languages) in preschool through eighth grades in 22 outstanding schools. Our family of schools includes three middle schools (Grades 6–8), fifteen elementary schools (TK/K–5), three schools with all grades (K–8), and one Early Education Center. We also have preschools co-located at our six elementary sites. We have various theme based schools: Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM. ACHIEVEMENT GOAL: Create learning opportunities for ALL Pre-K through 8th students resulting in closing the achievement gap and culminating in personal and academic success in high school and beyond. San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking to hire substitute teachers! $180.00 day Incentive for day to day substitutes teachers: *day to day substitute teachers who work 16 days or more in the District will be paid $190.00 per day starting with the 16th day *day to day substitute teachers who work 31 days or more in the District will be paid $200.00 per day starting with the 31st day Must have a California Teaching Credential, 30 Day Sub Permit or BA and CBEST (and willing to obtain a 30 day sub permit). Kindergarten through 8th grade. Work with a GREAT district!!! Substitute teachers are especially needed for middle school level.

The district is located on the San Francisco peninsula, 19 miles south of San Francisco just north of the Silicon Valley.
