Requirements for Applying

The job of Office/School Clerk is done for the purpose(s) of providing general clerical support to assigned area; communicating general information to staff and the public; processing information in compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements; and assisting other office personnel. Please review the attached job description for a comprehensive review of the job expectations. REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS A complete application must meet the criteria listed below and must have the following documents attached to your on-line EdJoin application prior to the position closing date/time: *Letter of Introduction (Must specifically reference the position for which you are applying) *Resume *Two recent Letters of Reference/Recommendation *Typing Certificate (Must be a minimum of 40 net wpm and dated within the last 12 months) *Application is filled out completely (no blank spaces) REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Job related experience is desired. One year of experience in clerical work; 24 semester or 36 quarter units of college level secretarial training may be substituted for experience. REQUIRED EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED TESTING Once this position closes, your application will be screened for minimum qualifications. Those who meet the minimum qualifications will be e-mailed an invitation for testing. Testing will be conducted on February 26, 2013.
