Leonardo da Vinci Health Sciences Charter School (LdVCS) in Chula Vista is seeking substitute elementary (K-6) teachers who demonstrate a commitment to our mission and vision.

Qualifications

• LiveScan background check through SDCOE
• Negative TB test
• Desire to become an integral part of our Charter School.

AND

• Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or equivalent

OR

• A minimum of a BA or BS Degree
• 30 Day Substitute Permit 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide large and small goup instruction in all subjects in regular teacher's absence. 
• Develop classroom lesson plans or follow lesson plans provided by teacher in his/her absence.
• Maintain standard pupil behavior.
• Maintain suitable class control and provide an orderly learning environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the school director.
  
• Exhibit sensitivity to and understanding of working in a diverse, multicultural, and multiethnic student and community environment.
• Demonstrate a commitment to upholding the interests and goals of LdVCS.
