There will be an application screening to verify that the minimum qualifications (education and experience) have been satisfied and required attachments have been received. We reserve the right to limit the number of candidates to those deemed most qualified for the particular vacancy(ies), based upon application screening and testing. Types of Exams: 1. Instructional Assistant Competency Exam - Pass/Fail 2. Training Selection Interview - Pass/Fail 3. Completion of Training - 100% A link to the Study Guides to help you prepare for the Instructional Assistant Competency Exam will be attached to the confirmation e-mail you receive once your application has been successfully submitted. We will email by Tuesday, February 5, 2013, to advise if you may participate in the written exam. Written Exam: Date: Thursday, February 7, 2013 Time: 1:30 p.m. Location: District Office Board Room, Building A Please allow approximately 3 hours to take this exam. All candidates will be required to provide a photo ID with their signature at the test site. Notify a member of the Personnel Commission staff if you have already taken the Instructional Assistant Competency Exam, with any of the following districts: • Ocean View School District • Huntington Beach City School District • Fountain Valley School District • Westminster School District • Newport-Mesa Unified School District • Huntington Beach Union High School District Interviews will take place the week of February 12, 2013.
