Requirements for Applying

  • To attend the teacher fair, you must submit an on-line application before the deadline.
  • In addition, you must submit a copy of your clear, professional clear or preliminary teaching credential.
  • HOW DO I QUALIFY? Since this Recruitment Fair is designed for credentialed candidates, you must have one of the following;
  • A preliminary, clear or professional clear teaching credential
  • Be eligible for a credential by fall 2013
  • Have a full credential from outside of California
  • AM I ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND?

  • If you are a candidate with a California preliminary or clear teaching credential, you must forward a copy of your credential and CBEST score report to determine your eligibility. You can access a copy of your credential by visiting the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) website; www.ctc.ca.gov
  • If you are a candidate and have a teaching credential from another state, you will need to forward a copy of your credential(s) and copies of your transcripts to determine your eligibility.
  • If you are a candidate from a foreign country, you will need to forward copies of your evaluated transcripts to determine your eligibility.
  • If you are a candidate that has at least one year experience in a teaching intern program, you will need to forward a copy of your internship credential to determine your eligibility.
  • If you are not yet credentialed and have not completed the University program, you will need to forward an appeasement letter from the University to determine your eligibility.
  • LETTERS OF APPEASEMENT Must state the following;
  • Anticipated program completion date prior to fall 2013.
  • Must include your full name
  • Expected credential level, type and authorization
  • HOW DO I APPLY AND SUBMIT MY CREDENTIAL?
  • Click on 'Click Here to Apply' at the bottom of this page.
  • Scan and attach a copy of your credential to your application, (this is the preferred method).
