Under general supervision, provide a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environment where preschool children have the opportunity to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Lead and functionally supervise teacher's aides or assistants. Work collaboratively with large developmental staff.

Milestones Preschool program provides differentiated instruction in an inclusive classroom setting. We value small class size, well trained teachers and outstanding teacher:child ratios in order to provide a learning environment that allows all children to have positive developmental and academic experiences. Our program serves small groups of children with and without developmental delays or risk factors. The program stresses growth and progress in a developmentally focused program.

We utilize both regular education and special education teachers and strategies within our classroom, as well as various levels of education and experience. We are looking for creative and collaborative teachers interested in including all children in the education process.

Requirements: Education: M.A. degree, teaching credential, AA or BA in Early Childhood Development or related field preferred; minimum of 12 ECE units in areas of Child Development, Child Family and Community, and Curriculum required. With AA or BA, minimum of 3 semester units in an Infant/Toddler course required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years working with preschool aged children; Special education classes and/or experience working with children with developmental delays strongly preferred.
