Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, candidate will clean classrooms, kitchens, athletic offices, pools, and facilities of an assigned school during an assigned shift; perform minor repair and maintenance, and assure security of school during assigned hours.
Qualifications: Candidate must have sufficient training and experience to demonstrate knowledge and abilities of the position. Candidate must have knowledge of modern cleaning methods, including basic methods of cleaning and preserving floors, carpets, furniture, walls, fixtures, pools and athletic facilities. Knowledge of cleaning materials, disinfectants and equipment used in custodial work is essential. Knowledge of good work practices, safety practices and work methods, policies and objectives of assigned program and activities, proper lifting techniques, pool maintenance methods and equipment, and basic record-keeping techniques are required.
