Pasadena High School seeks an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the position of Head football Coach without teaching. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as an experienced Head Coach or coordinator, a clear vision of building a program, provides strong leadership, attracts quality student-athletes, displays exemplary organizational skills, creative football tactics, sound judgment, and has strong connection in the realm of high school football.
The School takes great pride in the breadth of its competitive sports offerings (36 teams) and is looking for the next Head football coach to proactively take over the program and create genuine interest/respect due to the consistent comprehensive success of the program. The Bulldogs compete in the Pacific League and CIF SouthEast Division. A talented and highly energetic leader with vision will find strong administrative and community support.
*Bachelors Degree Five
*(5) years of relevant coaching experience / Minimum of 2 years Varsity Head *Coaching experience preferred.
*Demonstrated strong oral, written and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple, competing tasks and priorities, ability to effectively communicate with a diverse community of students, faculty, coaches, administrators and staff.
*Team-oriented individual with the ability to become part of the fabric of the institution.
*Understanding and supportive of the values and ideals of the Bulldogs tradition.
*Ability to relate well to students, colleagues, parents, and the school community
Certification: CPR/First Aid Certification is required
Clearance: Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance; tuberculosis clearance is required
