BASIC FUNCTION Under general supervision, perform skilled functions and activities in cooking, baking and salad preparation in large quantities; assist in monitoring nutrition service personnel and in the maintenance of a food service facility in an orderly, safe and sanitary condition. Substitutes are on-call employees serving on a day-to-day basis. The intent of a substitute is to fill in for an employee who is on a leave of absence.

Upon hire, selected candidates will be asked to provide proof of a negative TB reading and background check by the Department of Justice. Selected candidates will also be scheduled for and must PASS a LIFT test before hire.
