Mobile Minds Tutoring is a provider of Supplemental Educational Services (SES) for multiple school districts in the state of California. The SES program provides free tutoring to lower-achieving qualifying students and is funded under Title I, No Child Left Behind.

Our exceptional staff is comprised of highly qualified professionals who can accommodate any student in a wide spectrum of educational services.  Because we believe every student is unique, we contract tutors who can create engaging lesson plans that incorporate students' individualized learning styles! Tutors are needed for the coming school year to teach small groups of up to 5 students after school and/or on weekends two or three days a week. Tutoring generally takes 3 months for each group of students to complete their hours. 

Requirements for Tutors:
Bachelor's Degree or higher, and/or 1-2 years tutoring experience;
Enjoy working with kids in grades K-12 (mostly K-6^th grade)
Able to write and keep lesson plans for each hour of tutoring based on a company instructional process;
Able to write a short, professional progress report on each student biweekly (training provided);
Organized and efficient with paperwork;
Administer standardized tests and benchmark assessments;
Reliable transportation is essential to the position; 

Access to a printer/scanner is very helpful;
Participate in 4 hour training program, as well as occasional teleconferences; State requirements can include clearing of a tuberculosis test and verified fingerprints and criminal record clearance
