Requirements for Applying

Must hold or be eligible for a Career Technical Education Teaching Credential in the secondary/adult level in the vocational field of Bicycle Repair. Experience in designing curriculum and working with high school students is highly preferred. Three years full time bicycle industry experience, including bicycle repair. One year within the last five for recency to be eligible for this credential.

No Health & Welfare benefits are offered with this position. MA $1500 (pro-rated) Valid TB test is required.

The ROP courses are designed to develop the knowledge and skills of various occupations and their presentation to outside audiences as used in an employment setting. “BIKE SHOP @ SCHOOL” will teach youth bicycle repair & maintenance skills, and will include safety awareness & skills for on and off road riding, various community organizations will be guests using the bicycle as a vehicle to teach; environmental & economic issues, health and fitness & community participation skills.
