Credentialed Resource Specialist working with students in grade 9-12 in a resource classroom. 

Full time position with an immediate opening or an opening for next school year (22-23)

Special Education paraprofessional credential, 3 letters of recommendation, a resume, and a Letter of Introduction

NCLB credentialed Special Education Teacher needed to work with special education population, Resource Coordinator and whole school staff. Applicant must possess or have qualification for a California Specialist Credential with resource specialist certification. He or she must have experience working with special education students, modifying/adapting general education curriculum and providing education services in varied environments. The applicant will also need to demonstrate an ability to function as a member of an educational team, collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, community agencies, and parents. In addition, strong behavior management and positive discipline skills, the ability to be flexible and receptive to change are also part of the required criteria. Each applicant should also perform basic teaching duties including, but not limited to collaborating with grade level and subject colleagues on a consistent basis (i.e. integrated lesson planning), contacting parents when necessary, working directly with the resource staff to accommodate students with specific learning needs, and implementing project based learning strategies with differentiated instructional techniques.
