Requirements / Qualifications
Current Special Education credential; five (5) years of teaching students with special needs; knowledge of current programs for severely handicapped, autism and special education preschool students is preferred. Cover letter Current resume Three (3) letters of reference Completed Certificated Teaching application
Under the immediate supervision of the Director, Special Education/Student Services, the Program Specialist is responsible for technical support of all special education programs. This position will assist special education personnel with responsibilities, such as, but not limited to: 1) Implementation and coordination of IEP Services 2) Staff development, program development and instructional strategies 3) Curriculum development and implementation 4) Providing full education opportunities for students with special needs
