For over 25 years, the California Autism Foundation (www.calautism.org) has been providing life-long services to more than 160 people with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our programs include adult day programs, a work activity program, a nonpublic school, supported living services, and residential homes. GENERAL FUNCTIONS: Provide professional oversight of behavior analysis services for adults with disabilities served by California Autism Foundation. When appropriate, deliver direct behavior analysis services to adults with developmental disabilities.


SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

1) Define interventions so that the changes to be achieved are measurable.

2) Analyze personal, social, and environmental conditions to better understand the variable that are influencing behavior.

3) Recommend and develop the goals of behavior change.

4) Implement agreed-upon solutions.

5) Monitor progress.

6) Conduct functional assessments of behavior of individuals.

7) Design behavior support programs.

8) Offer consultation and guidance to staff with regard to behavior analysis issues regarding individual clients.

9) Provide ongoing behavior analysis consultation and training to CAF staff to enable staff members to develop skills necessary to analyze the potential causes of behavior problems and to effectively implement programs to modify the behaviors.

10) Work with consulting psychiatrists to coordinate behavior and psychiatric services for clients.

11) Provide appropriate and complete documentation for all services rendered. This includes individualized service plans and quarterly progress reports.

12) Participate as an interdisciplinary team member in individual planning meetings, as appropriate.

13) Reports to Senior Director of Adult Services.

14) Co-manages CAF's behavioral Service Model in conjunction with the Clinical Director of Children's Services.

15) Collaborates with and supports Day Program Manager, Coordinator & Day Program staff, Curriculum & Training Director, and Residential Administrators & Residential staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a Masters Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related area, with an emphasis in behavioral analysis preferred.  Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or eligible to sit for the board examination.  Must maintain BCBA certification. Fingerprinting and physical conducted.


QUALIFICATIONS
-Ability to meet Community Care Licensing requirements which include a physical examination, TB test, and DOJ and FBI criminal record clearance
-Must be 21 years of age with a valid California driver's license, personal vehicle insurance coverage, and a driving record acceptable to the agency's insurance company
-Ability to work well with a diverse population of clients, families, and staff
