Julian Charter School continually accepts applications from California-credentialed teachers who would like to be considered for our substitute teacher pool. As we have substitute teaching needs that can not be met by our current pool of substitute teachers, we interview additional teachers to be added to the pool. Substitute teaching positions are used to fill in "as needed" for absent site-based staff. • Must hold a valid California teaching credential. • Review the student’s body of work. • Remind student of any upcoming required assessments and assignments. • Inform students of upcoming high school events (testing, test prep, etc) • Communicate regularly with all members of assigned students’ educational team including parents, Academic Counselor, and SASes. • Track and report student attendance. • Proctor all state mandated tests and JCS required assessments. • Position requires minimum of 3 years experience teaching in subject area.

Requirements / Qualifications

Position requires a California Teaching Credential registered with the Riverside County Office of Education. This may include a 30-day Sub Permit registered with the Riverside County Office of Education.

Single Subject Credential Holders: Please note, you MUST add a credential to your profile (TC1 or TCSS, whichever best describes your actual credential) with the authorized subject being "***Any Subject."
