Revolution Prep expects to achieve revenue of $30 million in 2011 and to grow to $300 million over the next 5 years.

The Opportunity
The K12 Marketing Director will play the lead role in developing and implementing the company’s overall marketing strategy for growing our K12 division (http://revolutionk12.com/). S/he will differentiate RevolutionK12, enhance brand recognition and drive revenue growth through various marketing efforts including digital, print and social media marketing, conference planning and attendance, PR, and event marketing.  The K12 Marketing Director will collaborate with internal teams and provide support to our field sales team to drive our national expansion while furthering penetration in the California market.  S/he will report to the CMO and will be based out of the company headquarters in Santa Monica, CA.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is as effective rolling up their sleeves to execute plans as they are developing the strategic plan.

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 5 + years of experience marketing to the K12 Education market
  • Excellent writing, editing, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Rich knowledge of marketing trends, technology, branding and design
  • Ability to continually innovate, using new and traditional marketing methods to understand, target and capture key audiences
  • Experience overseeing PR efforts
