Total Education Solutions (TES) is the leading national provider of outsourced special education compliance and staffing solutions to public education agencies. TES currently provides compliance and staffing solutions to over 200 public and charter school sites, representing 70 school districts and 35 Special Education Governing Entities.
We are currently seeking Supplemental Education Service Providers (SES) to give tutoring services to children, primarily in the area of english/language arts, and math. Candidates must feel comfortable tutoring in both subjects, and for the math component, be able to tutor up the ADVANCED ALGEBRA level. Candidates interested in this position must agree to adhere to the following commitments:
- Availability 5 days per week, part time, starting at 2:30/3:00 pm
• Tutoring individual and/or small groups.
• Tutoring in math AND reading
• Assess student before initiating services
• Assess student at the last session
• Track student progress
• Create Student Learning Plan.
• Responsible for collaborating with the student’s parent, teacher, and other allied specialists.
• Required to maintain daily logs of client’s progress.
• Required to travel to and from the client’s school and/or home.
This position maintains a need for candidates to work 6-9 hours a week, while having the ability to handle a caseload of at least 4 students. Please note this position is funded by the school district. Billable hours are not available on holidays, winter/spring break, and five weeks during summer – unless otherwise indicated by the program manager.
Applicants must have completed 72 units college coursework. Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree and/or two years experience with developmental disabilities will be given priority.

Under the direct supervision of the SES Program Manager, the SES Specialist will provide one on one tutoring services in the areas of English-language arts and math to students who are at-risk for not meeting grade level performance; monitor and report student progress, and perform a variety of clerical duties related to tutoring services. Services may be provided any day of the week including weekends, however services must occur during non-school hours, usually in the afternoons between 2:30 and 7:00 PM on weekdays. This program is state and federally funded. Billable hours may not be available during summer breaks unless otherwise indicated by SES Program Manager. This is a part-time position with non-exempt status which requires a minimum of four days a week availability in the afternoons, or evenings and a minimum of a 4 month commitment. Essential Job Functions: Services Implement lesson plans using the SRA curriculum and approved supplemental activities. Modify materials and explain instructions as needed.
