Candidates must possess a Master’s degree; California Administrative Credential, with Tier 2 clearance; California Teaching Credential, K-12; and have at least 2 semester units of specific and 2 semester units of general course work in multicultural education or equivalent study. Minimum of 10 years of service in a public school certificated position(s), no fewer than 5 years of which must have been in teaching service, with both upper and lower primary experience preferred. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of service in an administrative position, as either a Vice Principal or Principal/Executive Director is required.
