Emergency Medical Responder at Coastline ROP

Provide entry-level occupational instruction for students entering the firefighter or emergency medical service field.
1. Provide instruction for students interested in firefighting or emergency medial service careers.
2. Assist in curriculum develoment and /or revision.
3. Develop lesson plans.
4. Maintain student records, grades, attendance, and training plans.
5. Participate in recruitment activities, advisory committee meetings, and career fair activities.
Requirements / Qualifications
Firefighter, Firefighter/Paramedic, Paramedic or EMT required. Instructor 1A/1B required. Bachelor's degree or AS degree in Fire Science desirable. Possess or be eligible for a Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching Credential.
To be eligible for the credential, applicant must have three (3) years of related work experience or one (1) year related work experience and 48 semester hours of related postsecondary vocational training. Send resume and cover letter with Ed Join or Coastline ROP application.

Part-time assignment at El Toro High School - one evening per week dependent on candidate's schedule. Time: 4:00 - 8:30 p.m.
