Replacement and Substitute Teachers for Temporary work during a potential concerted work stoppage ("Strike") at La Habra City School District
Requirements / Qualifications
1) 30 Day Emergency Sub Permit or Valid California Credential 2) Fingerprint Clearance through Orange County Department of Education 3) TB test current within the last 4 years It is required to attach the above supporting documents to your online application; however, we can not accept "hard copy" application additions. Please do not send, FAX or email any additional paperwork, all materials must be attached to your application. If you have a valid California credential or hold a 30 day emergency sub permit*, you may qualify to be placed on our emergency substitute list and serve as a replacement teacher in grades K through 8. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
*If you hold a baccalaureate degree and have passed the CBEST test, you can apply for your 30 day emergency sub permit (fee involved) through Orange County Department of Education: 200 Kalmus Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92628, (714-966-4236.) Please note that fingerprinting through Orange County Department of Education is also required (fee involved) (714-966-4306.)
