Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, California, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Head Cross Country Coach to lead and develop its cross country program. The Head Coach is responsible for the overall organization, supervision, and development of the program, including practice planning, athlete conditioning, competition preparation, meet coordination, and student-athlete development. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication, knowledge of distance-running training principles, and a commitment to student safety, academic achievement, sportsmanship, and the Lasallian mission of Christian Brothers High School. The position reports directly to the Athletic Director and requires compliance with school policies, California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) regulations, and applicable coaching requirements. Previous cross country or distance-running coaching experience is preferred.
Requirements / Qualifications
Candidates must be able to satisfy all applicable Christian Brothers High School, California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), and California requirements for high school athletic coaches, including required clearances, certifications, and training prior to beginning coaching duties.
