As a substitute with the San Luis Coastal Unified School District you will have the opportunity to pursue day-to-day and/or long-term assignments as they become available. Candidates have the flexibility to accept available assignments based on their personal availability and preferred work location. Assignments are in-person, and may be at school sites in San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, or Los Osos. **Most custodial sub opportunities are for night shifts, 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break.**

The Substitute Custodian position is an on-call opportunity to support school facilities by providing custodial services at school sites in San Luis Obispo, Los Osos, and/or Morro Bay.
Assignments typically consist of eight-hour evening shifts.
Before accepting substitute assignments, candidates must successfully complete fingerprint clearance, a TB test, and a physical examination.
Please note that work is offered on an as-needed basis, and while assignments are often available, daily assignments are not guaranteed.
