Albert Einstein Academies (AEA), a public charter school organization serving elementary and middle school students in San Diego, California, is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and visionary Superintendent to lead our school community. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) school community, AEA is committed to academic excellence, innovative teaching, student achievement, and developing lifelong learners. The Superintendent serves as the organization's chief educational and executive leader, reporting directly to the Board of Trustees and providing strategic leadership and oversight of all educational, operational, financial, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of California charter school operations, educational leadership, fiscal accountability, and organizational development. This individual will work closely with school leadership, staff, families, and the Board to strengthen academic programs, support student success, foster a positive and inclusive school culture, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and charter requirements. AEA is looking for a transparent, approachable, and student-centered leader who values collaboration, builds meaningful relationships, and is committed to supporting staff while guiding the continued growth and long-term success of our school community.
