The Preschool Program Director leads the daily operations, educational quality, and long-term growth of our early childhood program. This role oversees curriculum and instruction, supervises and supports Site Directors across all sites, and ensures a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment for children. The Director also ensures compliance with state licensing and health and safety requirements, manages budgets and enrollment, and builds strong partnerships with families and the community. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum and monitoring its quality Recruiting, training, scheduling, mentoring, and evaluating staff Maintaining compliance with licensing, health, safety, and accreditation standards Managing the program budget, tuition, enrollment, and required records Communicating with families and responding to their questions and concerns Promoting a positive, inclusive culture for children, families, and staff Typical qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field Three or more years of early childhood teaching experience, including at least one year in a leadership role Current CPR and first aid certification, or the ability to obtain it Ability to meet state director requirements and pass required background checks
