* High School Diploma or GED equivalency * Demonstrate proficiency in English, Mathematics & Ability to Assist based on one of the following options: 1) Copy of AA or AS Degree (or higher) or 48 semester units AND pass Ability to Assist multiple choice district administered equivalency exam 2) Pass English, Mathematics & Ability to Assist multiple choice district administered equivalency exams * CPR/First Aid certification within required timeframe * Attend a Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training program within 6 months
