The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a highly qualified Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher for the Head Start Tri-Cities area (located in the cities of Bell, Maywood and Cudahy). The ECE Teacher plans and implements a developmentally appropriate educational program for preschool-age children. The position adheres to regulations, policies, procedures and practices associated with District, State and Federal Early Childhood Education programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: -BA Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field -Site Supervisor Permit or higher -Must have a minimum of (3) semester units of infant toddler development (must complete (6) units within one year from date of hire -Completion of Health and Safety Course -Current CPR and First Aid certification (American Red Cross, American Heart Association or EMS Certified) -Valid California Driver's license and current car insurance upon employment -A current physical exam report must be available at the time of employment. -May require Bilingual/Bi-literate skills for certain programs PREFERENCE: -Bilingual/bi literate (Spanish) -Early Childhood Education experience
