JOB TITLE: Transportation Aide, Classified Employee DEADLINE: Until position is filled LOCATION: Downieville, California Sierra County Office of Education ASSIGNMENT: Immediate start Part-time, 3.5 hours daily; per 2026-2027 School Calendar; 6:15 am-7:45 Morning, 3:05-4:15 PM DESCRIPTION: Transportation Aide will pick up student (s) before school and after school. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Follow oral and written directions; Effectively communicate with students, staff and parents; Read and write at a level necessary to perform the requirements of the job; Maintain order among students being transported; Work confidentially and with discretion; Maintain accurate records and files. Complete required medical courses, CPR and First Aide Certification. A Department of Justice and FBI background check, tuberculin test clearance, DMV clearance.
