High School Diploma / GED Experience working in a school or educational setting. Knowledge of cleaning, sanitizing, and infection-prevention procedures. Experience operating custodial equipment. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time-management skills.

Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and other school facilities. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and other surfaces. Empty trash and dispose of waste properly. Clean and disinfect desks, tables, door handles, and other frequently touched surfaces. Replenish restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Prepare classrooms, multipurpose rooms, and other spaces for school activities and events. Monitor school facilities for cleanliness, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns. Report repairs, damaged equipment, and unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor. Safely operate custodial equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures. Maintain cleaning supplies and custodial equipment in an organized and secure manner. Follow school safety protocols and procedures to help maintain a healthy environment for students and staff. Perform additional custodial duties as assigned
