Position: Senior Student Information Systems Specialist Location: Palm Offices Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday Work Year: 260 paid days per year Classified Salary Schedule: PRI 21, $36.36 -$44.22 hourly Round 1 Interview Date: Week of November 16 Round 2 Interview Date: Week of November 30th JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the assigned administrator, the Senior Student Information Systems Specialist serves as the District's lead functional and technical resource for the Student Information System (SIS), the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS), the California Statewide Assignment Accountability System (CalSAAS), and related enterprise data systems. The Senior Specialist plans, administers, integrates, and continually improves applications and data processes; leads state and federal reporting; establishes data governance, quality, privacy, and security standards; and develops advanced reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. The position works independently; exercises sound judgment, coordinates cross-department projects and vendors, and translates complex data and technical requirements into actionable guidance for administrators and staff.
