Position Summary REACH Leadership STEAM Academy seeks a flexible, student-centered, and dependable On-Call Substitute Special Education Teacher to provide temporary classroom coverage and instructional support for scholars receiving special education services. The substitute will help maintain continuity of instruction, support scholars’ individualized learning needs, and ensure a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment during the absence of the regularly assigned teacher. Assignments may include short-term substitute coverage, as-needed classroom support, or an extended assignment when approved and supported by the appropriate California credential or permit. Responsibilities will depend on the assignment, the substitute’s authorized scope of service, and direction from school administration.
