Job Summary

The Student Support Specialist provides assistance to students who need additional academic, behavioral, social-emotional, or organizational support to succeed in the school environment. This position works collaboratively with teachers, school administrators, families, and other student support personnel to promote student engagement, positive behavior, attendance, and academic achievement. The Student Support Specialist helps implement student support strategies, monitors student progress, assists with conflict resolution, and promotes a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. The position follows school policies and works under the direction of school administration.
