Job Summary
Job Summary
Provide childcare referrals to the community and technical assistance and support to families and childcare providers. Will also support Child Care Providers’ professional development by conducting on-site, in-person coaching sessions in their center-based and home-based sites. Implement quality rating improvements utilizing the following tools: CLASS Environmental Rating Scales, Desired Results Developmental Profile, and Ages & Stages questionnaire.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education/Experience • Bachelor’s degree in child development or related field from a four-year college or university. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in child development-related programs. • Experience with the following quality rating approaches and tools is highly desired: CLASS, Environmental Rating Scales, Desired Results Developmental Profile, and Ages & Stages Questionnaire. • Experience and ability to work with adult learners and diverse client populations. Familiarity with center-based and home-based childcare provider population. • Experience with strength-based and reflective coaching methods and strategies preferred. • Experience with childcare resource and referral services preferred. • Bilingual preferred in English/Armenian/Russian or English/Spanish
