Creative Alternatives' nonpublic school opened in 1986 as just one program of many within the Creative Alternatives Inc. nonprofit umbrella organization. Its sister school in Fresno county has been in operation since 2014. Creative Alternatives, Inc. also operates STRTP facilities, a mental health program, foster care, and transitional housing for foster youth in Stanislaus and Merced counties. Creative Alternatives is seeking a strong, supportive education specialist who will effectively provide instruction to emotionally disturbed/learning disabled students within a Special Education setting.
