Job Summary
GENERAL SUMMERY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the immediate direction of the Preschool Teacher. Works in preschool program assisting the teacher in providing instructional assistance to individual or small groups in the classroom, helps supervise children on the playground, ensuring a safe environment for children and staff. Provides clerical and any other duties assigned related to the job description in support of the children and the teacher and any other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent Applicant must have minimum of 48 semester units or AA degree or have passed Para-Professional exam A minimum of 6 semester units must in Early Childhood Education (ECE) OTHER REQUIREMENTS: First Aid and CPR certification Immunizations: TB Skin test, Influenza (Flu), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), and Measles
A completed Edjoin application must include the following: A cover letter discussing candidates qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Verification of 48 semester units or AA degree or have passed paraeducator exam Verification of a minimum of 6 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) A copy of candidate's resume Three letters of recommendation
