Job Summary
The Substitute Teacher plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position involves delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring that students stay on task with the curriculum. Substitute teachers must adapt quickly to different classroom settings, establish rapport with students, and follow the instructional plans left by the regular teacher. They are responsible for fostering a respectful and engaging atmosphere, supporting student learning, and ensuring the smooth operation of the class until the regular teacher returns.

MUST POSSESS A 30-DAY SUBSTITUTE PERMIT OR CA TEACHING CREDENTIAL. Letter of Introduction Resume Copy of Credential At least one letter of recommendation within the last 30 days.
