Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through science? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Long-Term Chemistry Substitute Teacher at Western Sierra Collegiate Academy to step into the classroom and maintain high-quality instruction and continuity of learning. In this role, you will bring chemistry concepts to life, deliver and prepare lesson plans with team support, provide targeted small-group support, and maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment where students thrive. The position begins in January and works through mid May, working 8:00am - 4:00pm, every other day on even days (aligned with our Odd/Even calendar).
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicant must have a 30-day Emergency Substitute Permit, however; a single subject credential in Chemistry is preferred. Applicant must be a member of the PCOE Consortium, or fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice, and TB clearance is required prior to commencement of employment.
