Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the site administrator, teach and instruct pupils in Grades 7, and 8, or a combination of these grade levels in academic subject matter, social, behavioral, and other educational skill areas; plan, develop, organize, and conduct a comprehensive educational program for middle school level pupils in accordance with each student’s abilities; and assist in other school programs as assigned. Education: • Possess a Baccalaureate or higher degree with an emphasis in education, instructional technology, or subject matter fields commonly taught at a middle school level. Certification Requirements: • Possess a valid California credential authorizing service as a teacher of middle grade levels and subject areas assigned with CLAD Emphasis or English Language Learner Authorization.

Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Studies OR Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with supplemental authorization in Social Studies If English Language Learner Authorization is not noted on credential, please submit a CLAD Certificate copy.
