Job Summary

The English Learner Development (ELD) educator’s primary responsibility is to provide supplemental instruction for LAAAE’s population of English learners under the direction of the EL and classroom teachers in the areas of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The instruction is focused on improving the English language acquisition abilities of students whose primary home language is not English. The ELD educator must be experienced in co-teaching models.
