***This is a temporary, long-term substitute teacher position while a teacher is on leave. The anticipated start date is either 12/14/26 to shadow the current teacher before Christmas Break, or 01/04/27 to settle in and prepare before students return from Christmas Break. *** POSITION SUMMARY: Calvary Christian Academy is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teacher to teach 3rd Grade and provide consistency and support for our students during this temporary assignment. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment while supporting student learning and academic growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Deliver engaging lesson plans independently, tailored to the assigned subject(s) or grade level. • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive and respectful learning environment. • Assist students with coursework, address questions, and provide individualized support as needed. • Uphold discipline and orderliness in the classroom and other designated areas on campus. • Accurately record and report student attendance. • Enforce school rules, policies, safety guidelines, and procedures consistently. • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration regarding academic progress, behavior, and classroom matters.
Requirements / Qualifications
