We know that everything is impossible—until someone does it. We are seeking an experienced and dependable Transportation Manager to lead the District’s student transportation operations. This position is responsible for overseeing safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services, including bus routing and scheduling, staff supervision and training, fleet readiness, regulatory compliance, and daily transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and problem-solver who values safety, teamwork, accountability, and excellent service while building positive relationships with employees, students, families, school sites, and community partners.
Requirements / Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in pupil transportation, fleet operations, school transportation, public transportation, or a closely related field Two (2) years of supervisory or management experience involving transportation operations or a closely related operational environment Additional education, training, or experience in transportation management, business administration, public administration, logistics, fleet management, supervision, or a related field may be considered in evaluating the required knowledge and experience
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 letters of recommendations dated and signed within the year)
- Proof of HS Graduation (Transcripts, Diploma, or GED)
- Resume
