Job Summary

The job of Educational Services Technician is done for the purpose/s of performing a variety of technical and clerical functions related to Educational Services, including providing clerical support to assigned personnel; communicating information to staff, the public, and other agencies; assisting in ensuring compliance with program financial, legal, and administrative requirements; maintaining required student and employee records as necessary; maintaining materials and equipment inventory for programs; processing required reports and District forms and maintaining various databases relating to Educational Services. An Educational Services Technician is under the direct supervision of the Director, Educational Services, or designee.

Requirements / Qualifications

Job prior related experience. High School diploma or equivalent. Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, Typing Certificate (40 wpm - net speed), District I.A./Clerical Proficiency Exam, 48 college units, or AA Degree and pre-placement physical (Group II).

- Classified Frontline employment application - Letter of introduction - Current resume - Three letters of recommendation dated within the past 12 months, with one being from a direct supervisor. - Copy of High school Diploma or Equivalent - Proof of having passed the District's Typing exam (at least 40 wpm) - Proof of having passed the District's Proficiency exam OR of having earned at least 48 college units to waive the exam Daily Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (8 hrs)
