Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is nestled in the foothills about 50 miles northeast of San Diego, California. The District extends from the Pacific Ocean I-5 (San Clemente Area) and East of the 1-15. This campus is located on Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base and is accessed via the Basilone Gate from I-5. The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner: Assist instructional personnel with the presentation of learning materials. Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce and follow-up learning activities. Monitor and assist students through drill, practice and study activities following the presentation of instructional concepts by teaching personnel. Assist in the supervision of small groups of students in the classroom, playground and study trip activities. Perform other related duties as may be assigned. REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; experience working with diverse groups and cultures; one (1) year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable, supplemented by courses in childcare, supervision, psychology or guidance; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
