The Academy of Our Lady of Peace is currently accepting applications for a Varsity Lacrosse Assistant Coach for the upcoming season. This is a seasonal interscholastic coaching position within a competitive CIF girls lacrosse program. We are seeking a positive, energetic, and team-oriented coach who will serve as a strong role model and represent OLP with integrity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to developing student-athletes. The ideal candidate will bring lacrosse coaching experience and a passion for teaching fundamentals, developing players, and contributing to a positive, competitive, and supportive team culture. This role requires a coach who values competitive success while emphasizing character development, teamwork, accountability, sportsmanship, and personal growth, aligning with the mission and values of OLP. Essential qualities include: Support and uphold the mission and values of the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Strong lacrosse coaching knowledge and experience Effective communication and leadership skills Commitment to teamwork and student-athlete development Ability to mentor and positively influence female student-athletes Ability to work collaboratively with the varsity coaching staff Positive attitude and commitment to creating a supportive team environment Additional Expectations: Assist with the planning, organization, and implementation of the varsity lacrosse program Develop and implement practice plans focused on fundamentals, skill development, and team concepts Assist with game preparation, strategy, and in-game coaching Provide individual and position-specific instruction to student-athletes Help establish and maintain a positive team culture, discipline, and expectations Build positive relationships with student-athletes and families Communicate effectively with the head coach and athletic administration Assist with game-day responsibilities and team operations Support the overall goals and vision of the OLP

Required Documents & Pre-Employment Requirements: Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and two professional references from current or former supervisors. Candidates must also provide official transcripts, a current negative TB test result or TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire, complete required training, and successfully complete Livescan fingerprinting. Employment is contingent upon obtaining fingerprint clearance from the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
