Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Principal, the Elementary School Teacher serves as an instructional leader for students in an elementary classroom. The teacher engages and supports all students in learning; maintains and creates an inclusive, positive, and effective learning environment; organizes subject matter instruction to support student learning; plans instruction and designs meaningful learning experiences for all students; assesses student learning and uses assessment results to inform instruction; collaborates with colleagues and families to support student success; and continues to develop as a professional educator. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a supportive classroom environment where all students are encouraged to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. The teacher will work collaboratively with the Washington Elementary School team and families to provide a high-quality instructional program that meets the academic, social-emotional, and developmental needs of students. The current vacancy is located at Washington Elementary School in a lower elementary grade, and is available to be filled immediately. Temporary Contract for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year.
