FOOD SERVICES LEAD Help us lead the kitchen that fuels Paradise students. Paradise Unified School District is looking for an experienced, energetic Food Services Lead who knows that great school meals take more than recipes—they take leadership, organization, teamwork, and heart. This is a full-time, 8-hour-per-day, 215-day-per-year classified position working closely with our Director of Nutrition Services and serving primarily at the District’s Central Kitchen. What You’ll Do As our Food Services Lead, you’ll be right in the middle of the action—helping coordinate the people, food, systems, and details that keep Nutrition Services running smoothly. You will: Provide daily lead direction, training, and support to Nutrition Services staff Help organize Central Kitchen production and support school-site meal service Prepare, cook, package, and coordinate high-quality meals for students Help ensure food is prepared and served consistently across District programs Work with standardized recipes, menus, production schedules, and portion requirements Partner with the Director on menu planning, product evaluation, ordering, inventory, and procurement Help maintain strong food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and regulatory practices Support receiving, inventory, storage, delivery, and distribution of food and supplies Keep production records, temperature logs, meal counts, inventory records, and other required documentation accurate and organized Help identify smarter, more efficient ways to operate our Central Kitchen and serve our schools Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who can lead from the front.
