Required Qualifications: * A minimum of journey-level skill in one or more of the trade skill areas listed in the “Definition” section of this job description. Verifiable understanding of workplace safety requirements related to each of the trade skill areas listed in the “Definitions” section of this job description Or * Four (4) years of verifiable work directing maintenance in a multi-facility environment. Verifiable understanding of workplace safety requirements related to each of the trades skill areas listed in the “Definitions” section of this job description Or * Four (4) years of experience as SCESD Maintenance Technician II and twelve (12) units of college-level courses in any of the trade skill areas listed in the “Definitions” section of this job description Or * Six (6) years of experience as a Maintenance Technician II in the Salinas City Elementary School District, a written recommendation from a supervisor following two consecutive positive evaluations, and 6 units of required college-level courses.
