The Jefferson Union High School District is currently seeking a Temporary 1.0 FTE Mental Health Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year only. Position will end on 05/28/2027. MATERIALS: •Letter of Introduction •Resumé •Three [3] Current Letters of Reference - One [1] must be from your most recent supervisor - Two [2] of the letters must be less than two years old A Master’s Degree or higher in counseling, psychology, clinical social work, or a closely related field. • At least one of the following: • Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) or Associate with BBS number • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Associate with BBS number • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Associate with BBS number • Masters Degree in School Psychology • Valid California Driver's License • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred Candidates who meet the minimum screening requirements will be required to take and pass a performance assessment prior to interviewing.
